Health Tips
Make sure the top of your computer monitor is (at least) level with the bridge of your nose.
This is SO, SO important. Having your computer monitor even a few centimeters lower than the bridge of your nose affects your whole posture and leaves you MUCH more predisposed to back and neck pain.
Think I'm exaggerating? Try it for yourself:
- Put the top of your monitor a couple of inches below the bridge of your nose and then bring it up to the correct level. (Putting a few books under it will usually do the job)
- You'll notice that not only will your neck sit straighter, but your ENTIRE BODY will sit up straighter without you even trying.
(Simple rule - if you want better posture, set up your desk to minimise the time spent looking down.)
Times this over hours, weeks and years and you can imagine that this one step could PREVENT SERIOUS BACK and NECK ISSUES in years to come.
