The body is complex and often the area where you feel the pain isn't where the problem is located. This is why osteopaths look at your whole body to find what is causing your pain. Your treatment will therefore usually involve not only treating the site of your pain, but also the related areas of your body that are causing and maintaining your pain. For example, treatment for shoulder pain may also involve treatment of your back, neck, elbow and upper ribs.
