About osteopathy

Osteopathy is a natural, drug-free way to restore your body's natural movement and alignment. The body is complex and often the area where you feel the pain isn't where the problem is located. This is why osteopaths look at your whole body to find what is causing your pain. Your treatment will therefore usually involve not only treating the site of your pain, but also the related areas of your body that are causing and maintaining your pain. For example, treatment for shoulder pain may also involve treatment of your back, neck, elbow and upper ribs.

Recharge Osteopathic Clinic's aim is to provide quality treatments that help recent injuries to get better faster and to find effective solutions for long-term pains and problems.

Many of the problems we treat are significantly relieved after two to six treatments.

How the treatment works

Osteopathy corrects the loss of alignment in your body that causes these problems. Osteopathic treatment is tailored to the individual and is suitable for every body type and every age – from newborn babies with colic or sleeping problems to adults and the elderly, from weekend joggers through to elite athletes. Osteopathy can help make you feel better again.

There are several different techniques that osteopaths use and your osteopath will choose techniques that best suit your condition and your body type.
